The MSc. Miguel Guirao Aguilera's career course in Computer Systems Engineering from the Technological Institute of Merida, then the Masters in Information Technology Management from the Universidad Anahuac Mayab. His work experience started as Service Engineer for Brand Products Datacard ID within the company Integral Systems Automation (SIAS), from 2000 to 2004. In 2005 he entered the cellular company largest in Mexico, Telcel, where he served as Logistics Analyst from 2005 to 2007. Subsequently, always within Telcel, serves as an analyst in the area of Computer Information Systems to date.
Parallel to his work activities, is a consultant in the areas of Linux, Free Software and Security. Promotes the use and adoption of free software through talks and courses in universities. Member of the Association for Computing Machinery since 2001. He has participated in the 2006 and 2007 editions of the SANS Top 20 Vulnerabilities, was founder of the Free Software Users Yucatan (aka GUSLY). Has certifications from CompTIA Linux + and ITIL Foundations.
