PhD. Luís Alberto Muñoz Ubando (TRIY)

PhD. Alberto Muñoz is a graduate of computer technician IPN, Systems Engineer of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Master in Science with specialization in Applied Mathematics, Ph.D. in Computer Science with specialization in robotics and image processing for both INRIA France. He has worked at the University of Pisa in Italy, and Tokyo in Japan, at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany, at Stanford University and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell in the United States, was Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, England from 1998 to 2000 and a guest researcher at the Institute of Automation of the Technological University of Vienna in Austria during 2005-2006. For the Federal Government has worked at the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) for 2000-20002 and the Faculty of Sciences at UNAM from 2006 to 2009. He was professor-researcher in UADY from 2002 to 2006 where he participated in the creation of the Bachelor of Computer Engineering and Master of Science in Mathematics. He has directed more than 30 degree, 10 master's and doctoral 3. Pioneered the teaching based on constructivism using Robotics and now several schools have been advised to embed robotics in its curriculum. He has published over 50 articles from magazines, books and lectures nationally and internationally. He has taught at the Masters in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in IT systems Mérida, in the Masters in Information Technology from the Universidad Anahuac-Mayab in the Masters in Mechatronics at the University Model. Editor of the Spanish section of the site TalkingScience in New York and participates in several technology-based companies in Mexico, USA France and Colombia. Currently involved in projects and Robotics Underwater Robotics Satelital in various research networks nationally and internationally.
