The Robotics Institute of Yucatán (TRIY)

The main purpose of The Robotics Institute of Yucatan (TRIY) is to help in the development and forming of early abilities for the growth of scientists and specialists in the area of robotics. All the Informatics Technologies, Communications & Control, along with Mechatronics and Cybernetics, get together to help the understanding of the machinery and tools of the future. The teaching of Robotics demands the use of specific strategies in order to ensure that every student regardless of his age can assimilate the knowledge, and also learn about the importance of team work. Within the plans of TRIY is to create a Museum of Robotics, a Data Center, as well as to provide spaces were students of any level can interact and share their opinions and passion for one of the multidisciplinary areas of engineering and exact sciences. A midterm goal of TRIY is to offer the first Master Degree in Robotics with support of world renowned specialists.

The Robotics Institute of Yucatan is part of  Consejo de la Industria de la Tecnología de la Información (The Informatics Technology Industry Council).
